Service one of four

Counseling &
university selection.

We narrow the field from two thousand European programs down to eight that genuinely fit your grades, your budget, your subject, and your life. Eight, not thirty. Because a list of thirty is a sales tactic, not advice.

The methodology

How we shortlist.
Step by step.

There's no algorithm. There's a process — repeatable, transparent, and tailored to you. Here's exactly what happens.

Step 01

Profile audit

90 minutes, structured. We map every dimension that matters: academic record (with realistic equivalence to European grade systems), language scores or potential, financial ceiling, family situation, work experience, projects, weak spots you don't want exposed, and what you actually want from this two-year chapter.

By the end of this step, your profile is a one-page document you can re-read and correct.

Step 02

Country mapping

Your profile filters the country list down to three or four genuinely viable destinations. Budget rules out some. Subject rules out others. Language requirements narrow further. Visa difficulty for your passport refines it. By the end, you'll know which countries are realistic — and why the others aren't.

Most students leave this step surprised by at least one country they hadn't considered.

Step 03

Program filter

Inside the viable countries, we filter to specific programs — not just universities. Two programs with the same name at the same university can have very different curricula, costs, and admission stats. We read the actual syllabus, recent intake data, and what placed students did afterwards.

University brand matters less than program fit. We let the program decide.

Step 04

Tiered shortlist

Eight programs, tiered for risk: 2 reach (ambitious, you're on the edge of qualifying), 4 target (strong match, realistic admit), 2 safety (high admission probability, still genuinely good fits). Every choice comes with a one-paragraph rationale.

You leave with a delivered document. You own it whether you work with us further or not.

Step 05

Two refinements

You come back with reactions — "I don't want to go that cold-weather", "what about this university I saw online", "my parents want me closer to home" — and we rebuild. Twice. Until the list reads like something you'd actually act on.

Most shortlists land on round two. Some need round three; that's free.

Anatomy of a shortlist

What it actually
looks like.

Example shortlist for a student aiming for a Master's in Data Science · Indian profile · 75% GPA · IELTS 7.0 · budget €15k/year.

Reach · 2

Ambitious — strong rejection chance, worth applying anyway

TU München

DE

Highly selective. GPA on edge but research portfolio compensates.

EPFL

CH

World top-20. Bold reach. Cost out of range without scholarship.

Target · 4

Strong fit — your profile sits comfortably in the admit range

Universidad Carlos III

ES

Madrid · strong CS faculty · €3.5k/yr · MAEC-AECID eligible.

University of Bologna

IT

Quant master's track. Income-adjusted tuition likely < €2k.

University of Mannheim

DE

€1.5k/semester · strong business analytics curriculum.

Eötvös Loránd (ELTE)

HU

Stipendium Hungaricum-eligible · could be full ride.

Safety · 2

High admit probability — still high program quality, not "throwaway"

University of Debrecen

HU

Affordable · strong international community · MS Data Science.

University of Valencia

ES

€1.5k/yr · low cost city · solid CS faculty.

Yours will look different. The shape stays the same — 2 reach, 4 target, 2 safety, with rationale on every line.

Counseling FAQ

Questions before you
book the call.

Can I take just counseling, without the other services?

+

Yes. Counseling stands on its own. Many students take just this service, use the shortlist to apply themselves, and come back later if they want help with scholarships, SOPs or visas. The document is yours regardless.

Why only eight universities? Other agents give me thirty.

+

Because eight is what you can actually apply to well. Thirty applications means generic SOPs, missed deadlines, and €3,000+ in application fees. Eight tailored applications, written carefully, beat thirty rushed ones every time — and our 88% offer rate proves it.

What if I disagree with your shortlist?

+

We expect you to. The two iteration rounds exist for exactly this. We'll explain why a university is or isn't on the list — you push back, we adjust. Final list is yours, not ours.

How long does the counseling process take?

+

Typically 10–14 days end-to-end. Profile audit takes 90 minutes (single call). Country mapping + program filter takes us 5–7 days of internal work. Shortlist delivery + first iteration takes another 3–5 days. You're not on a hamster wheel — but we move.

My grades are low / I have a gap year. Can you still help?

+

Yes — and we'll be honest about which destinations and programs that profile fits. There are excellent options for non-traditional applicants in Germany, Italy, Hungary, Poland. We won't pretend you can apply to Oxford. We will find you something genuinely good.
