Who we are
Visagrad is an independent education and immigration advisory based in India, and is the data controller for the information you share with us. We handle your data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, because we work with students who study and settle in the EU, we also follow good-practice EU (GDPR) standards, regardless of your nationality. Your data may be processed in India and in the locations where our secure providers operate. Our registered company details and a contact address are available on request and will be listed here. What we collect
- •Information you give us through our assessment, path finder, or contact form, such as your name, email, WhatsApp number, study goal, destination, timeline, citizenship/region, field of study, GPA range, and notes about your background.
- •Documents you choose to upload, such as a CV or résumé.
- •Basic technical information (e.g. device and browser) and, if enabled, anonymous analytics about how the site is used.
How we use it
- •To assess your profile and prepare a personalised education or immigration plan.
- •To contact you about your enquiry over WhatsApp or email.
- •To improve our service and understand which pathways help students most.
We do not sell your personal data. We never share it with universities or third parties for marketing.
Our legal basis
We rely on your consent when you submit a form or opt in to our emails, and you can withdraw it at any time. When we assess your profile and prepare your plan, we also act on the steps you ask us to take and our legitimate interest in running an honest advisory. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 this is processing for the specific purpose you shared the data for; for users in the EU or UK it maps to consent and legitimate interests under the GDPR. We only ever process the data you choose to give us.
Where it's stored
Your submissions are stored securely with our database and storage provider (Supabase). Access is restricted: lead records and uploaded documents are not publicly readable, and only authorised Visagrad team members can view them.
Who processes your data
We keep the circle small and use trusted providers only to run the service, never to market to you: Supabase (database and secure document storage), Resend (to send the emails you request), Vercel and Hostinger (website hosting and media delivery), Razorpay (to process any payment you make securely; we do not store your full card or bank details), and, if you choose to reach us there, WhatsApp (Meta). They process data on our instructions under their own security and privacy terms, and your data may be handled in India and in the regions where these providers operate.
Your rights
- •You can ask us what data we hold about you, correct it, or request its deletion.
- •You can withdraw consent and ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to help you, or as required by law. When it's no longer needed, we delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
